Here at The Lighthouse we have 2 statements of belief. The condensed version are the beliefs that all official Members of The Lighouse Church hold to. The extended version is more particular and exhaustive and are the beliefs that all the leaders of The Lighthouse Church hold to.
What we believe and teach
Introduction
The Leaders of The Lighthouse Church recognise that any doctrinal statement is but a fallible human attempt to summarise and systematise the riches of an infallible divine revelation. But this in no way detracts from the importance of such a statement. The affirmations which follow carefully specify our teaching position with regard to the major biblical doctrines, and thus provide a framework for curriculum and instruction at the church. They also provide an anchor to protect the local church against theological drift. For this reason, leaders of The Lighthouse Church are required to be in hearty agreement with this Statement of Faith.
