First time visitors discover The Lighthouse is immediately welcoming, warm, friendly and truly relaxing. The live band plays contemporary, lively and energetic music. The use of state-of-the-art audiovisual technology means The Lighthouse experience has a strong musical and visual appeal and is indeed refreshingly different to many previous church experiences.

People frequently express surprise at the informality of The Lighthouse. Casual dress is the norm and often people will grab a coffee and take it to their seats.

Perhaps the best way to picture The Lighthouse is we are a group of ordinary people who love God and strive our best to live for Him because He is great and has done amazing things for us. We are a "middle of the road" church that is neither Pentecostal or traditional. Because of this you can feel safe that nothing weird or wacky will happen during your visit with us.
